To enhance creative competencies and inspire motivation, members of our staff are asked to join our sister company’s (Pacific Tours) scheduled domestic group tours for tourists and influencers to unique attractions and immersive experiences. This idea builds on the client/prospect’s networking of the company through engagement with key influencers who participate in the tours through the strategy of influencer marketing. Another dimension of the whole experience is the use of an application, “Kahoot”, to engage the entire group as part of the tour experience to log into the app and answer questions about the tour in real time for rewards.
Results:
Staff exposure levels and contributions to idea sessions are on the rise in addition to enhanced confidence, team building, and motivation levels. The influencers on the tours have served as major referrals, brand advocates, and positive word-of-mouth ambassadors in addition to the building of online communities to be integrated to our customer relations management database. The network of prospects have served as a base for soliciting business opportunities. The use of the Kahoot app similarly has provided avenues for unaided recall and memories of the entire tour experiences.
