Alan Tang is a strategist known for his ability to get to the heart of complex issues—whether in business, politics, or community engagement. With over four decades of experience, he has advised companies on growth strategy, branding, marketing, public relations, crisis communications, and nonprofit development. His work often bridges sectors and cultures, offering clarity where it matters most.

Alan has also contributed to the success of numerous federal, state, and local political campaigns. In 1996, he founded Olomana Marketing, which later merged with the Loomis agency in 2012 to become Olomana Loomis. Today, he continues to guide clients through pivotal decisions and meaningful change.

He serves on the board of ICOM, a global network of independent marketing and communications agencies, and represents the Asia Pacific region as a director. Alan and his wife live in Honolulu and have two grown children—one working in the industry and the other based in Seattle.
